Lodging & Camping Options

The races are being held in the Big Bend Ranch State Park, and camping and lodging are available.  There are many vacation rentals in the area, as well as hotels and lodges of all sorts. The Lajitas Golf Course and Resort offers hotel rooms, and the Maverick Ranch RV Park offers RV and tent camping.

The Lajitas Resort has a block of rooms with a special rate. When you reserve, mention the Big Bend run.

The Maverick Ranch RV park is part of the Lajitas Golf Resort too. There is plenty of tent and RV camping available, as well as nearby bathrooms and showers. Contact them for rates and reservations.

A new lodging option is Summit at Big Bend, also within a few minutes of the start.

The race starts at Barton Warnock Center a mile from the RV park, and there is parking close by the start, so you can stay at some neat places and drive in for the start.

The area has many options for those who want to experience all that Big Bend has to offer, from luxury to maybe even a yurt or an Airstream.
