- The registration fee for 50K/25K races is $125.
- The registration fee for 10K race is $100
- Both online and mail-in registrations will be accepted.

I was wondering if you are at or near capacity. I would really like to run but don’t want to spend the money if there are no spots.
The 50K and 25K are about half full and there’s plenty of room in the 10K.
What dates are most volunteers in the park. Id there a fee to volunteer? Is the Chisos Mountain Lodge the best place to stay if I’m not camping. Is the Mine Company too far away?
First, there is no fee to volunteer. All you have to do is pay your way. Volunteers usually start showing up on Friday, although the race staff normally is there Wednesday to get things set up.
If you can still get a room at the Chisos Mourntain Lodge (one of our fine sponsors) that is the closest.
The Chisos Mine Company also is nearby. We have a rundown of area lodging at http://www.bigbend50.com/lodging/
I want to run the 50 k race, but I have no money until Friday or Saturday, Could you reserve me a place or give me an extension?
Well, sorry, too late for that now. There still are spaces in all races, but they are going fast.
Aren’t you that guy I saw the other day asking for a hamburger today that could be repaid Tuesday?
Is the 25K race full? If you are full before you recieve my registration, will by check be returned?
No, it is not.
Yes, we will.
Is the 50K sold out yet?
Not yet – 21` October 2011 – there are a few spots left, but they are going fast (sorry for the delay)
i want to sign up for the 50k but am wondering if there are any spots available still?

Any space left in the 50k?
As of 21 October 2011 . . . just barely.
any 50k spots left-ive got money if you have a spot
As of 16:00 CST 10 November 2011, the 50K was closed.
Sorry. The Friends of Big Bend National Park says there will be a short waiting list, but that will not guarantee entry.
Is there still room for the 50K?
We just got this from Friends of Big Bend National Park on 10 November 2011.
“As of this moment the 50K is officially closed. We will have a limited waiting list, but the waiting list does not guarantee one a spot in the race. We have less than 10 spots left in the 25K so I anticipate that to be closed very soon.”
I can’t recall if I registered. How do I find out if I am already signed up?
You are registered in the 25K.
See you in January!
Am I registered? Can’t remember.

We have you registered in the 25K.
See you in January!
I’m on the waiting list for the 25K but at this point I’d rather just do the 10K and have a confirmed registration. Who can i contact – or can someone contact me – to have my registration be for the 10k?
I’ve forwarded your request to the registration people.
If you have any further questions, please contact us at info@bigbend50.com.
Thanks, and I hope you enjoy the race!

Is there a finishers medal ?
There sure is!
Are you taking registration for 2013? If not when & how can I get info?
We have not opened 2013 registration yet. You can stay tuned here or on Facebook, or you can sign up for our irregular newsletter – just click here.
It’s been a couple of weeks since I registered, though I was only allowed to register for the 10k online. I’ve received no letter back. Can you tell me if I’m registered?
We are checking and will get back to you by email.
